Hosted PBX

What is Hosted PBX?

PBX stand for “Private Branch Exchange” which is another way saying a private telephone system within a company. Hosted, another way of saying “in the cloud,” means that the hardware for the system is off-site in a data center. This solution is a full featured, Fortune 100 level phone system for your office. It has every feature you would expect to find at a large enterprise, completely scale-able from a single phone, up to as many as your company needs. You can add and remove lines as necessary and there are no contracts. It is a Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone system, requiring special phones which connect to the Internet. That is the full extent of the hardware purchase. In the past, to implement a solution such as this onsite, you could easily see an initial capital investment between $15k – $20k. Now the technology can be yours for $32.99/month per line.

We’re too small for a hosted phone system.

The size of your company doesn’t matter. A single line is enough to get started. For small companies, Hosted PBX can actually be less than a single, featureless business line from the average carrier. The enhanced features can benefit any company and you can easily port over the existing phone number you’ve had for years. We will set a specific time and date for the switch. If you need a new number, we will take care of that for you.
